The Artist

Hi. It’s me.

I have a tendency to fidget, a need to doodle, and don’t know how to sit still. I have always had a complicated relationship with perfection.

What started as a way to unwind slowly turned into a habit. The habit turned into stacks of paper. The stacks turned into collections. And somewhere in between, this became a real thing.

Perfectly Imperfect is a combination of a mental break, a creative outlet, and a small rebellion against my own tendency to over-refine everything.

Every piece here is drawn slowly. Intentionally. Usually with coffee and chocolate handy and something half-finished on a severly chaotic desk space nearby.

Most pieces begin without a grand plan. Just a foundational idea and the decision to see what happens next. There’s something grounding about repetition – building outward, filling space, letting patterns evolve without overthinking them.

This project is part meditative practice, part experiment, and part long-term curiosity about what happens when you let go of the need to make everything perfect. We have long forgotten how important it is to include a little bit of art and creativity into our day-to-day lives. This is a reminder to help ground the mind and brush off the cobwebs of the part of the brain that we push back in the hustle of the rat race.

Also, I firmly believe no one is allowed to insult their own art. That includes me.

If you’re here for pristine geometry, you will find something slightly off. On purpose.

If you’re here for something human — welcome.
